Jenn Clemena is a San Francisco based multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter. When she was 12 years old, she became obsessed with the game Guitar Hero before she decided to finally learn how to play real guitar. From then on she continuously watched videos of her inspirations such as Eric Johnson and John Mayer. At the age of 15 she became the lead guitarist of a Daly City church (with her drummer, Patrick Malinis) where she grew up learning genres such as Gospel, Funk, and Jazz. Jenn spends her hours learning from guitarist such as Tom Misch, Isaiah Sharkey, and Tom Quayle.

In 2015 Jenn decided to perform as a street performer in San Francisco around areas like Powell Street Bart Station and Pier 39. "Busking is one of the most humble experiences I've ever had as a musician. I would tell any musician to try busking at least once in their life. It changes your whole perspective on who you are as a musician and what you plan to achieve." -JC

In 2019 Jenn met Alex Lipar(Sax) and Josh Cnic Nicolas(Bass) and decided to form a group when she was offered to play at one of her biggest shows yet (UNDSCVRD SF). The band is currently recording their first album, with all original, smooth, and soulful music written by Jenn herself and produced by Josh. At age 25, Jenn’s current goal is to continue creating music that speaks about her experiences, in hopes that people will understand her emotions through her music.

"What I Fought For" Live at Brick & Mortar Music Hall

“There are the songs I write about love — Then there are the songs that speak about what’s going on in my head. Whether it’s about something recent or something from the past, those songs are about things I want to let go. I create songs about them because once it’s out there, it’s not in my head anymore. And it’s no longer about me  — It’s about the people who are listening, and for the first time I don’t have to feel it anymore.” - Jenn Clemena
